Mistress Light

August 30, 2003
I wrote a poem specifically for this picture. I'm nobody's poet but I think it is ok.

poem
She walks in misty darkness,
she shines with brightest light.
The butterflies to search her way,
to lighten it; the fireflies.
In all of places she's alone,
'cause in this world there is noone.

She walks in misty darkness,
she shines with inner light.
She's searching for her lover,
she won't find him in this life.
She tries so hard, tries her best but,
in this world no sign of luck.

She walks in misty darkness,
the light inside about to die.
She tried so hard for so long time,
but she will never find him.
Mistress light, oh mistress white,
there is no chance at all.

She walks no more in misty darkness,
no light shines from inside.
The fireflies and butterflies,
lie like dust upon the ground.
But finally, yes finally,
she finally has found him.
